Position: Asst. Manager Systems Security
Organization: Tameer Micro Finance Bank, Pak

Role Profile:  Management of IT Systems Security Infrastructure to ensure authorized and secured access to TMFB Systems.
Responsibilities of the profile should include:

  • Develop and Implement Information Security Policies and Procedures based on ISO 27001 Standard for IT systems (Systems, Databases, Applications and other infrastructure components)
  • Coordinate with system owners and custodians for security management, Hardening of Operating Systems, Databases, Applications and other infrastructure components. Management of AV infrastructure
  • Develop and improve backup policy and monitor routine backup and backup testing for system
  • Management of AV infrastructure.
  • Monitor and ensure security controls with IPS and other network security devices with systems perspective
  • Incident Management, security and disruption, OS, database levels and other infrastructure component
  • Risk Assessment and development and maintenance of risk register w.r.t systems
  • Perform regularly scheduled security and vulnerability audits, formulate reports and collect from various systems/personnel and determine corrective actions as needed
  • Coordinate third party system security assessments and provide detailed reports and remediation recommendations
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations for emerging trends and system security practices and compliance against standards
·         Analyze problems to determine best solution to improve security posture under given cost factor
Qualification:   BS/MS Computer Science
Preferably CISSP, CISA/CISM certified
Experience required: Minimum 2 years in managing infrastructure/systems security
Locations: Head Office ( Karachi )
Status: Permanent
